For best resolution, see this note from Bobby3xR in a previous thread:

Also for best quality photos - don't forget that after you hit upload in the bottom right corner there is an "Upload Preferences" option. Here you can change the resolution from the defaulted "Standard Resolution" to "Full Resolution" and also remove the red eye correction.

I got one of these last time and am pretty happy with it. The canvas is about 1.5 inches thick. Also for best quality photos - don't forget that after you hit upload in the bottom right corner there is an "Upload Preferences" option. Here you can change the resolution from the defaulted "Standard Resolution" to "Full Resolution" and also remove the red eye correction.

I mentioned this last time someone posted this too. I feel like everyone should know because otherwise the picture comes out pretty grainy up close.

Can confirm, it is wrapped around a wood frame. I make them there.

Some good advice, when creating them, make sure to have the picture extend beyond the edge border not just to the edge that is shown un-greyed out. Also use a picture with enough background, really close up pictures never turn out well because there's always cropping issues.

I think the cheapest Ive seen it from a previous deal was roughly around ~19 for so. Still not a bad price. Very high quality

Don't they wrap it on card board? That isn't that high quality to me

Nope.. It's wood. I've also been pleased with the quality, especially for the price.

some of mine in the past have come back somewhat pixlated - how can I ensure that I choose a photo that is good for this size so it is not distorted? Thanks

I recently did some CVS canvas prints, are these normally better than CVS?

Make sure that photo is high enough resolution for the print size. I would try to stay at 150 dpi (dots per inch) or more. 300 is ideal but on larger prints 150 is usually fine. Under 100 is noticeable and I wouldn't recommend it.
Example: a 16x20" print at 200 dpi would require a photo at least 3200x4000 pixels.

This might solve your problem if you're using a good resolution photo when uploading...from a previous thread:
