Am I in the minority that thinks that anything beyond 3 blades is almost counter-beneficial because it's too big / clunky / less maneuverable?

I've tried the Dorco and they just don't give me the same shave as the name brands do.
the same here - Dorco is not bad but I get a better shave with Schick and Gillette.

This seems to be an OK deal, but not all that great. Sure, way better than store prices, but not as good as some hot deals in the past.

Prices are normally Mach 3 < Fusion < Fusion Proglide < Fusion Proshield.

I used Dorco 6 for a while, they were pretty good, probably 7/10 at about $1/blade, which is very hard to beat unless you get a crazy deal.

I am sad to say the Fusion (8/10) and Proshield (10/10) are better on my skin than Dorcos, but I have sensitive skin and the Dorcos are FAR from crappy. They're a good budget choice, if you don't have sensitive skin you may not even notice the difference.

I use 1 razor a year. Razors do not go dull if you make sure you rinse it out and set it flipped over where it will dry well. Why people need to buy all these razors blows my mind. An 8 pack would last me 8 years. And I just replace yearly by choice not because I have to.
100% same here

Make the switch to Dorco or one of the many other alternatives. Save yourself hundreds of dollars.
Mach3 in this deal $1.20/blade. Dorco is 1.00/blade on sale. At this price point, it's Mach3 all the way, since they last longer and shave better in my experience.

Can someone explain, if this is a daily deal and I do amazon Subscribe and Save won't the price be going back up by the time it actually ships out and I be charged the regular price (less the S&S discount as normal)??

Edit copied from the S&S confirmation page:

"The price of your subscription may change based on the price of the item(s) in your order at the time the order is processed. "

Thanks for the share, but no thanks on the brand. No more Gillette products again. The same goes for the rest of Procter & Gamble and its subsidiaries.

Not really a great price for the Mach 3. Though it's cheaper than other options right now this is by no means "slick". For comparison, and yes I know this was a couple years ago, the last time I picked up a Slick Deal on this exact Mach 3 refill:

Order Summary
Item(s) Subtotal: $13.64
Shipping & Handling: $0.00
Subscribe & Save: -$0.68
Gillette Promotion: -$2.73
Your Coupon Savings: -$6.00
Total before tax: $4.23
Estimated tax to be collected: $0.00
Grand Total: $4.23

The above was ridiculous but certainly was "slick" Smilie A decent deal usually should run at least less than $1 per blade IMO. Costco usually puts these on sale every few months which comes in cheaper than this but hey, if you need them NOW here you go!

X
Costco sale price for Mach3 is $32 for 20 blades, so this amazon deal is slick. The deal you got was more like a mistake. Even Dorco is $1/blade on sale.

Does anyone know the difference between the Fusion, Fusion Proglide, and Proshield is? It just looks like slightly more gel around the blades?
