Aside from collector's, nobody is buying Wii U games, no matter how low the prices would go. Because nobody would still have a Wii U system.
There are so many good games you can get for so cheap, as well as the system itself. Plus the amount of virtual console games available is insane. I don't see myself ever getting rid of it.

Mine had multiple ds games with price stickers from 2009... I had a huge laugh at that.

Same here. I bought my Wii U in 2014 and my Switch last August, but still have my Wii U because of the vast game collection and the virtual console feature. I enjoy playing both consoles and am not planning on getting rid of the Wii U anytime soon.

I've been upset about no Metroid prime anything on switch, then realized I still have my Wii copy, and have been replaying 1 on the WiiU! Love it. Going to use some my Nintendo points and get that 40% Off earthbound and play it for the first time. Excited!

Worst paper Mario game, but still pleasant. The battle system is like a card game. Mario collects cards of varying power along the way. Cards do a predetermined amount of damage. I use the weakest cards first when I'm fighting normal monsters and save the strong cards for boss battles. It was enjoyable albiet too simple for me. I wish there were more stats, customizations, armor, and items like the old paper Marios. This is essentially the Kirby's Epic Yarn of Paper Mario. Instead of making it more challenging than previous versions, they made it simpler with a focus on storytelling

You can get this on ebay for $29. That's worth it to not step foot in Walmart 😂

Most games are on re-released on Switch now, so there isn't a big reason to own it anymore (plus emulation on PC). So the main stream players have either never bought it or got rid of the system for the next gen.

I'm not saying millions didn't buy it, just not that many and people have moved on. 13 millions wii u sales. Wii was 101 millions. PS4 91 millions. you get my point.

This was my first Slickdeals/Brickseek win for Walmart! Every time I drive 30+ mins to find out that brickseek was accurate, but Walmart's inventory system was incorrect. I took a chance on this one, drove 25 minutes, and now I have two happy children! Thank you OP!!
