this shoudl come with a higher output battery. aka the 4.0 or the newer 3-9ah batteries. these smaller batteries are ok for lighter use, but for tools like this, a higher output battery is key.

Small battery and very slow charger but otherwise a good kit for a small yard. I'm a big Ryobi fan and truly believe in their 18v system for any homeowner. Great buy!

battery power weak compared to other electrics, might be good for light duty

if you are over 6' tall the trimmer is uncomfortable IMO

Both of you are correct. I bought this same package and found this 2.6AH battery insufficient for me to finish my front yard for edging and trimming, even more so if I try to use the blower. I wound up taking advantage of the deal with two 6.0AH batteries for $100. People should consider that before buying this package. Otherwise, this battery is only good enough for the tiniest of yards.

man. i forgot they included that damn charger with this kit. how cheap of them. for me it was a wash though, because i already had the real charger and this one is nice to toss in my kit when i travel, assuming i have enough battery power to get me through the jobs, but this thing is along just in case.

yes. definitely too small of a battery to do anything more than a smallish yard. imo tho, this is a decent battery for other tools... so you could always pick this up and then get another tool pack with a more appropriately sized battery.

I'd recommend the jet blower over this one
