This outdoor tent is tall enough to stand in comfortably and offers enough space to fit 2 queen-size airbeds. The WeatherTec system features a tub floor with patented corner welds, protected seams, and a covered zipper that help keep water out. An E-Port makes it easy to bring electrical power inside your tent. The camping tent folds into the included carry bag for easy storage & transportation. -slickdewmaster

Looks like a great design and Coleman makes good stuff for car camping. But anything with more than 2 poles does not setup in 15 minutes, I don't care how many "snag-free" whizbangs it has.

Looks very similar to the Montana which I already have but with less of a rain fly. That has held up well.

I was just eyeing this 8-person tent from Field & Stream, on sales for $80: https://www.fieldandstreamshop.com/p/field-stream-cross-vent-8-person-tent-18fnsufscrssvnttncat/18fn... [fieldandstreamshop.com]

Mostly because of the price, but a store-brand tent does make me hesitate. Does anyone have any experience to compare these two tents?

If you took your time and had a little help by one or two people this should easily be done in 15 minutes or less. Most likely less.

Rush it and that's your issue. Sounds confusing but when I set up tents I take my time and work with what the tent is given me. Grabbing the easiest part and going on to the next.

Perhaps more than 15 minutes the first time, but certainly less after that.

I always divide by 2 if all will be adults.

Yeah when they decided on the occupancy of a tent it's really how many sleeping bags you can pack in there on the floor.

What MOI said, divide what they say by 2 and it's more realistic.

The problem with these are the fact that any of the 8 could fart.

Agree. Also it's not instant.
