I have one of these and you are basically paying for the aesthetic and quality. It's very well made, extremely heavy, and a nice looking dispenser that sits in your fridge.

A mason jar with a filter bag works. Any cheap method works fine. It's just immersing coffee grounds in water for 12-48 hours.

This works great for me and I like the look for the price. It makes a good concentrate, it's fairly easy to clean, and it has a small footprint.

Not a bad deal on it, I still think the best one I've used is the primula one i picked up for $8, I tried this one at a similar price but for the size and effort to clean it it wasn't worth it so ended up returning. Primula is 51 ounces, empties out the grounds on the bottom and steeped for 36 hours makes awesome cold brew.

So I'm pretty new to cold brew and have only used the smaller Takeya 1-quart pitcher, how is it different with this one, taste-wise, steeping out in room temperature for 24 - 48 hours?

This is supposed to go in the fridge for at least 12 hours. It is actually a lot smaller than it appears in the stock photo so it fits on your fridge shelf.

Good product, but too small. Runs out very quickly.

This one is better than the smaller one at least! I had the 26oz one or whatever it was and got like 4-5 drinks from it and it was gone.

I just got this last week. I brew it out of the fridge and then transfer to another container and put that into the fridge. The starbucks I go to always brews their cold brew out of the fridge. So it should be good. Also this is concentrate. It is supposed to be mixed with water. You don't have too but it will make less than what is advertised.

Interested in the Primula , seems way easier to use/clean. How much coffee you put for 51oz ? You brew it for 36 hrs ?

FWIW I love KitchenAid appliances. I have a countertop KA coffee maker and it had an issue (years ago, I forget what it was) but their Customer Service was phenomenal and replaced the entire brewer, no questions. And the machine is a workhorse. KA stands behind their products, which I appreciate.

Waiting to see if Amazon will price match it... after reading some of the reviews regarding leaking I'd rather deal with Amazon on a return (haven't had to deal with returns to Buydig, so I don't know how hard/easy it would be)

I love my coffee sock. It's $10 and works with any jar. Super easy and no complaints. Why spend this much when you'll get a lot less?
