YOU. WILL. NEVER. EVER. GET. THE. ITEM.

Geez. These Walmart Brickseek bullshit posts belong elsewhere. They do not belong on Slickdeals.
I beg to differ...

Nope. Sorry you are slow on the draw or never find a deal near you, but there are tons of us that have gotten excellent deals.

Im telling you, its a waste of time. If you race to the nearest Walmart that shows in stock, it doesnt matter. Before you even get there, the employees take the product and hide it and lie to you. It happens over and over.

i voted it up cuz its a fantastic price...if you could score one. but it never pans out.

But it's not a waste for everyone. Because of these threads I was able to get two Xbox One S consoles for $99 each a few months back. I've gotten top model Roku's for $29 each on two occasions. We got our 60" TV a two years back for $300 that retailed everywhere else for $900.

Its another clearance item that you will not find because the employees will have gotten them first. I have that brand and have had no issues for the past 2 years.

My new found zen attitude: Dont correct people, let them think WM/BS clearance deals are a waste of time, that means less competition/confused people. I am on slickdeals MAINLY for the YMMV clearance deals. I have lucked out time and time and time again (probably 100+ success rate over the past two years).

As far as this deal, very YMMV, this model is old at least older than the TV reset that happened a few months ago. You could get lucky with it being in the back but odds are not in your favor. Go with that attitude and you never know you might get lucky. I have had this TV bookmarked for months, 1 in a nearby town I just havent gone that way and didnt want to travel just for this deal.

I have never once got a walmart clearance deal. I think the employees hide the items and lie about them. I do however think other people are more successful with walmart clearance items but I believe these people live in areas more with less traffic and they are already watching these items. Don't waste your time asking if its in the back because its not. Its already hidden somewhere waiting to go home at the end of an employees shift.

called the store with 2 in stock nearby they answered the guy says we dont have that tv they have been calling for a week now. LOL
Slickdeal rule #1, 2, and 3: Never ever call the store about a deal.

You could either ruin a price mistake deal or at the very least the employee lies to you and buys the items for themself.

Saw it marked $59 on BS, limited stock nearby. Checked the walmart app, got confirmation of stock, but not price. Took a chance, actually found one (turned backwards, which I took as a good sign), checked upc, lugged it to the front, rang up in the hundreds, hauled it back.

BS is like a lottery ticket with not much of a prize for the rare winner. But it would have made a nice gift.

This^.

If you cannot confirm stock AND price on the walmart app for that specific store, it is a NO GO! Period.

It rang up in the hundreds because its not the right TV. If it had the same UPC code you would have paid what BS says. Why didnt you just take out your phone and scan the UPC with the walmart app to confirm price? Or at the very least compare UPC codes?

LMAO. Yes definitely use the junk walmart app to confirm availability because thats better than walmarts own internal inventory system (which brickseek uses).

But hey what do I know, I only have purchased hundreds of YMMV walmart clearance deals (lost count, TVs, smartwatches, soundbars, laptops, memory cards, speakers, etc).

You literally just quoted me saying I did compare the upc codes. Number by number, backward and forward. But hey, believe whatever you want. I'm glad bs works for you, and someday I'll probably be tempted to try again on one of these deals despite my own experiences and the experiences of thousands of others here. Someday I might get lucky.
