I hate to be that guy but 150mbps is only 18.8 MB/s. The title says 150MB/s.

I'm not duronboy but I will chime in. It is decent and is better than what I'm seeing from the 128GB walmart flash drive. Only getting around 80MB/s in tests so this drive is roughly twice as fast in read speed.

For a flashdrive 60MB/s write is a lot better than it could be. If I really needed 128GB on the go, I would be willing to sacrifice a little space and get an m.2 drive in a USB 3.1 enclosure and enjoy damn near 500MB/s. More money and effort. But it's the difference between spending 30 minutes to fill a drive or less than 4 minutes.

So why get this when Samsung Evo select on Amazon is $21? I use it in a small reader. That card gets 100MB/s read 80MB/s write.

Personally I like having a thumb drive because if I use a sd card reader the card will fall out. With a thumb drive, I can just put it on my keys without a care.

In this price range, rather get a rage2 or rage elite for a few dollars more. 400 MB/s read and 100/200/300 MB/s write.(128,256,512gb respectively)

My previous Lexar thumb drive boasted very fast read/write speeds. At the time I paid a premium for it. However, it was only optimized for large files. It slowed down to a trickle (even slower than a USB 2.0 drive) when dealing with small files. Not sure if they are still playing this marketing gimmick.

Fair enough, different use case for different drives. I might pick one up for that same reason you listed.

It does seem like it's super slow on small files. See screenshot I took from amazon reviews compared to samsung evo select.
