We match any legit price.

Why would we lose a sale, when we have a customer in the store, right now?

Repost, BUT...
I showed that to Guitar Center and they took $176 off the newer 22-fret Player series and I got to choose color. I also got to pay taxes, but technically, I'm supposed to volunteer that money if I bought from Adorama too. $500+tax is what I paid. Perhaps others can replicate the deal at GC.

What should they do? Just tell him to go buy it cheaper somewhere else?

If only Adorama has a Payboo card like B&H.

I always have an issue with places that price match. IMO it's greedy and lazy. Let others businesses spend in advertising, get the interest in a product then competition uses it to match. The thinking behind it on their part, let's not give it away if we can make more on other people who don't know it's on sale, if someone has an advert ,then we do it so we make something .

No issue that you got a deal there. If you got a color you like even better ,great. Just not a fan of the business model.

Nice guitar BTW. Many years of enjoyment to come ... Cheers

I'd rather be able to try it out than buy blind. Plus, returns/exchanges are usually pretty painless if you have a GC in close proximity

The thinking behind it on their part is to make money. That's what they are in business for. Price matching creates healthy competition between businesses and the consumer pays a better price.

Does the 22 fret have a longer neck or are the frets just closer together?

the fingerboard is longer on the end closest to the neck pickup.
