If I was looking to buy myself a home theater system, I rather buy Fluance Signature Series over these Klipsch speakers.

That would've been perfect. Too bad I took too long to make a decision and finally pull the trigger. Now, I'm looking at either the Sony STR-DH790 or Onkyo TX-NR686 as their on the cheaper end.
hi is the yamaha still working fine ? i will looking at the A780.

so noob question, alot of these receivers say 80w @ 2 channel but theyre 5.1, does that mean they only provide power to 2 channels or does it provide power to 5 minus the sub ?

Second and third bundle have the wifi sub. Super convenient. Anyone have experience with wifi vs wired?
Is it WiFi or Bluetooth?

The same bad deal that gets promoted around here all the time. Low quality mass market speakers. This stuff is barely better than a decent soundbar and subwoofer...Klipsch and Polk compete for the lowest quality cheap speakers. And just like people fighting over Hyundais and Kias, both fighting a race to the bottom where price is the only factor.

If you care enough to put speakers this size in your home, buy something better than this. Some basic research will show much better options, because the better companies don't spend so much time putting up fake prices and having "fire sales" to make people think they got a deal. They just make good speakers and sell them for a reasonable price at all times. And yes, they cost more - because they're better and worth it.
This was completely one users opinion, lots of others that are also audiophiles have and enjoy their Klipsch systems. While not all of these specific models in this deal are my favorites they are all good and have clean, and efficient sound.

I've had quite a few pieces of good stereo items over the years and Klipsch are some of the cleanest sounding and most sound per watt I've come across. Some models are more clean and efficient than others but I've never been disappointed. For the price, this will make an impressive theater setup. You can however spend more and be more impressed but I don't think you'll find an equal setup for this same price point.

Just MHO

Would it better to buy the cheaper $700 multi-set of Klipsch here or the higher end dual towers I saw at around $800 a bit back? I'm trying to judge the value versus quality/experience but know nothing of these products.

I'm not quite an audiophile, just getting into this, but I can definitely determine and appreciate high quality sound. What you guys think?

So when you say "know nothing of these products" does that mean you have never heard Klipsch speakers? If that is so, that's crucial on knowing if you like them and which ones.

So your question on what would be a better buy between "cheaper $700 multi-set of Klipsch" or "higher end dual towers", you would have to listen to both and make that determination because no one can tell you what sounds good to you.

So just understand that speakers produce the sound you hear and IMO they are the biggest contributor to the quality of what you hear.
IMO you should put most of your budget into your speakers if you want to improve what you hear.

Frys has a similar deal as Bundle 2 but a larger center.

For a single subwoofer, this seems like a better deal... no?

None of Shintsu's comments are ever positive. Always trolling....The comment has nothing to do with the actual deal or its value. God help us if there was an AMD chip in this system...

Just pointless personal opinions. DELETE

Does anybody know how to connect atmos speakers(R-625FA) to 7.2 receivers? There are 2 connectors on it. I have Yamaha RX-V681 receiver. I'm interested in a bundle 2.

You can get decent used receivers on the Bay if you want to save some money and don't need the bells and whistles.

For around 50 bucks, these vintage ones have decent sound.

Can the towers be used as SL/SR and the bookshelf speakers as L/R? The space in my room won't really allow for the other/normal way.

So basically the bottom connectors on the 625 goes to the fronts connectors on the 681 and the top connectors goes to the front presence connectors. Hope that makes sense and helps

Those might be good if you just need a receiver for maybe stereo sound or very basic surround sound set up but today's surround sound set up's is a little more intuitive for these older receivers. IMO the quality of your sound has more to do with your speakers rather our AVR but I would agree if you want to save money do it with your AVR not your speakers.
