There are a lot of people that have an unhealthy obsession with disliking ring products.

We use kuna and bought it for 59 I believe, no subscription fee, so far I am quite pleasing. If ring product is pricy to you, it's another brand to consider. Also, it does not run from wire or battery, it provide adapter to get power from your light bulb that already exists

I recently got one of these to use as an extra camera. Already having a Pro and a gen 1 stick up cam, I'll say that this one is not worth it. Get the gen 2 oh these if you can. The picture on this one is fairly blurry and has a very strong "fish eye" effect due to the lense and cuts the view from left and right side. Seems if you run it wired, there is an always on light that affects the night Vision sensitivity so I was not getting night vision at night. I'd steer clear unless you don't mind the negatives and looking for a cheap entry level video doorbell.

I have the Gen 1 and I like it over the Gen 2. I like the fisheye lens they have. And I have no complaints over the resolution. I have been good enough for me to identify those on camera. Can't comment on the light issue with the wired option, I have mine on battery. The battery life is surprisingly good! It's not the 6 months as advertised, but a good 2-3 months.
