I just bought from this site a few days ago during another "power deal" and the price was $109.99/ea which has been posted multiple times over the last few weeks. This is the first I've seen it down to the $99.99 price and includes both the Ancestry and additional health reports.

NOTE: you have to "share" with someone (I did to another email address) and it will apply the coupon to get it at $99.99. Don't want to get into the pros/cons of DNA testing... but at the very least I think this looks like a good deal for the + Health kit!

Includes Ancestry Service PLUS more than 85 DNA-based online reports on Health Predispositions*, Carrier Status*, Wellness & Traits with just one test

ANCESTRY FEATURES
Ancestry reports
- 35+ reports including: Ancestry Composition, Ancestry Detail Reports, Maternal & Paternal Haplogroups, Neanderthal Ancestry, Your DNA Family
- DNA Relative Finder: Find and connect with relatives in the 23andMe database who share DNA with you. (opt-in)

HEALTH FEATURES
Health Predisposition* reports
- 10+ reports including: Type 2 Diabetes (Powered by 23andMe Research), Late-Onset Alzheimer's Disease, Celiac Disease

It's funny how you pay money for these things and really all you are doing is entering your family tree into an FBI database. If someone in your family commits a crime they use the DNA that is being gathered by these companies to deduce who it is. I guess they make money on both ends! From the consumer who buys the kit and the FBI for access to the data.

Are the findings truly scientific and can be used for life saving diagnosis?

People struggle to install apps on smartphones due to privacy concerns but provide ultimate private info and gift (buying price) as well to these companies!

Not to mention future health insurance companiesbulb, who will soon use your DNA to deny coverage based on hereditary conditions...Although, anyone that is dumb enough to do this...Darwin wants a word! laugh out loud

Do you mean if your family members commit a crime, you will cover up?

Not to mention employers. Soon employers will demand your DNA to see if :"qualify" for a job.

All the more reason why healthcare needs to be decoupled from employment. The country has so many headwinds, we are being dragged back into the stone age thanks to the 42%,

Not sure where these uninformed are getting their information.
There must be some conspiracy site spreading fake news or dumb@sses saying things on the tubes or insta just to get views.

Unless you can site missuse of your DNA information from a credible source, crawl back under your rock... LOL

But, can't say I would make a purchase through Massgenie. Too sketchy since a lot of sellers aren't authorized re-sellers.

Did a test back in 2007... I think they had a $99 sale back then too when the normal price was $999. Took it to screen for carrier status of genetic diseases.

Just don't post the results on a 3rd party website and you should be ok in regards to law enforcement. Probably too late for that as enough people have done this to track down 95% of the population.

The stated buisness model is to sell the information out to drug companies for their uses.

Was anyone able to order? I'm having troubles ordering it. Never ordered anything from Massgenie before. At first they blocked all my credit cards and now I can't pick any shipping option to order.

This was my first order with them as well (purchased the $109.99 deal last week). I was able to place the order on Monday and once the deal "ended" it showed me as a winner. By Thursday I reached out because it still didn't show shipping status and they told me the order was under review and once it passed that it would be released for shipping. I had tracking that it shipped Friday morning and it will be delivered on Monday.

Can't vouch for the item itself since it hasn't arrived yet, but the processing time was pretty much in line with other websites. It will deliver one week after I placed the order.

I figure... this is 50% off their normal price (and $50 less than their current "sale") so it was worth it to me for the savings. Essentially... I'm going to spit inside a sealed tube and send it off to the same test lab as if I had bought it directly so there's minimal risk.
