FWIW, here's my customer service experience when my Lexar and Samsung cards failed:
Lexar gave me a huge hassle about sending in the defective card, even though I couldn't do that due to the sensitive nature of the files stored on the card. I had to talk to three or four different managers over the course of days before they agreed to let me fill out a form and provide proof that I destroyed the card before they would replace it. It was an incredibly frustrating experience that was not worth the time I wasted.

When my Samsung card failed, Samsung only asked me to read off a number on the card. Then they mailed me a new one.

I had a recent warranty experience with Lexar.
Last September 12, my 128GB Lexar micro SDXC card went bad. Did a claim with them. It was delivered Sep 27 to them. Since then, I had numerous conversation with them about where my new card is. Finally they told me something about government regulation prevent them from issuing the return. I had to wait. Finally, they asked me if I want to get paid by PayPal on Dec 3rd. 2.5 month since I sent in the broken card. Waiting and waiting, inquiry about it, noting. Eventually, I got refund of purchase price on Apr 18. Total time: 6 months 23 days since they received my broken card. The up side is I finally got my money back. Hopefully no one will ever have to wait this long. Smilie

Be careful - the 256GB card on the same page is only U1 and also not A2 rated. Both are class 10.

Actually, the 512GB is the only one that's U3 and A2 rated. I don't really NEED that much storage, but my screen is getting repaired, I'm going to have to rebuild my phone, my 128GB card is almost full, and, well... Slickdeals.

SUPER tempted to get this for the Switch. 128gb just isn't enough, especially with all the amazing games coming out this year. Anyone have much experience here with Lexar?

Lexar used to be good when they were part of Crucial. They were sold off to a Chinese company a year or so ago, so I'm not sure where they source their flash from. Of course, pretty much everything is from China these days, so we'll see.

I'm going to run some tests on it the couple of days my phone is away, and see how it performs. But really at the moment I can't say whether Lexar is good or bad. I've had Samsung and SanDisk cards fail on me too, so I guess we will see.

Lexar is one of the manufacturers recommended for some action cameras (GoPro, Yii, etc.). To my knowledge, they're highly rated. I've used mine without issue. Mine is a 128GB U3 A1, so I can't speak for this particular card, but I was considering a 512GB for external storage on my Surface Pro, and I may pull the trigger on this.

Amazon.com is selling this Lexar 512GB microsd for $74. That's $26 less than other frontpage deals for the same size media.

Some of the reviews note that the card is counterfit, but those were sold by 3rd party. This deal is shipped and sold by Amazon.

Not bad. Especially if you have the Amazon assistant $7 off $70 code for father's day. But I think many if not most people would want a V60 card for this capacity. Otherwise V30 restricts you to 4K at a "mere" 30 fps. Edit: also, don't upvote your own post OP. It's gauche.

Nice. I had a $50 amazon credit, ordering this essentially turned that into a $57 amazon credit, thank you OP. Now maybe I can just use one card on my switch instead of two

This is the lowest price of brand new 512gb microSD at Amazon.
I have seen this price before and it should drop more

Also, the performance is better than the Samsung EVO Plus card. I have this card as well as the EVO Plus and did execute some benchmarks. Currently using it with the SD card adapter in my Panasonic Lumix FZ80 and recoreded tons of 4K footage and the save performance is really good.
