Sure. Not knocking the deal down.
In fact, I bought one.
Isn't it helpful for ppl to know that this knife is not forged, but stamped?

just keep in mind 10" will be super large. I got the 8" version for $9.48 two weeks ago and it is pretty large. Good knife to practice sharpening on. If you want a fancier handle, forged, and slightly better steel go with the Renaissance or Genesis

Got excited, thought this was the 10" Genesis like the 8" this morning 😭

I have a few paring knives from this series that work nicely, but for this size, it's worth moving up to the Genesis if you're just buying single blades.

That's irrelevant for steel quality.

If you're paying 9 bucks for a knife, then you're totally ok with it being dispensable. I have a stamped Mercer knife and have been using it for the last 2 years with no issues. Easy to sharpen and cuts through all my meats and produce like butter.

How do these compare to the Victorinox Fibrox line?

I already own a Fibrox pairing and utility knife which I'm quite fond of. Was initially planning on grabbing 8" Fibrox chef knife but they're 3x the cost of this.

Generic X30cr13 low grade steel, but then again, it's a budget throw away knife so you can't really complain. Expect to hone and sharpen frequently.

Not even in the same league. Stick with the fibrox pro or the mercer Genesis which is made of the same steel.

Can you recommend a good reasonably priced knife sharpener? I have so many blunt knives and I just keep buying more
