Warranty on this model is lifetime. You must be mistaking the cheaper models . I just got my cable replaced after 2 years of use with little hassle. Extremely fast and friendly service. I personally think that buying for a few extra bucks on Amazon and getting the lifetime warranty is worth it versus buying from this site

To make these cables last longer/more durable, they tend to be rather thick and do not bend easily. They sound good in theory but when in use they can put a lot of pressure on the port and the connector. The thicker cable also means more weight. I tried this brand in the braided powerline II and it was so thick and heavy, the extra cord hanging off my nightstand made it feel like my phone would get dragged off the side. It is so stiff it was uncomfortable to use while plugged in, seemed like too much force was on the connector and didn't feel right. Ended up returning. Went with an amazon basics premium that seems to be in the middle of the road for durability, weight, flexibility, etc. Phone doesn't want to slide off the nightstand like it did with the powerline II and the amazon cord doesn't feel as stiff, but still seems very durable. AmazonBasics USB A Cable with Lightning Connector, Premium Collection - 6-Foot, Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DWD3...bDb9VXAFX3 [amazon.com]
Anker > anything else for me.

For a lifetime warranty and amazons customer support I might give this a try. As for your aforementioned problems, I've never observed them myself before. Yeah the cord is kinda stuff but it's similar to a laptop cable or standard usb cable for a printer

You know what DJ3Exclusive (OP), considering the last deal I went through that you posted for the iTunes gift cards through MassGenie (deal post now removed, coincidentally I'm sure) got my iTunes account banned, I'm going to pass on this.

Everyone be careful about MassGenie. Just because it works out doesn't really mean you should trust them. Their site just screams grey market.

Anker really gave me the run around, even with the Amazon receipt. Since the serial number had worn off, it took about 5 emails back and forth before they finally agreed to send me a replacement. Then, after that, they emailed wanting the old one returned to them. Their CS has gone to shit. This was about 3 months ago on the same exact cable model as this one, except it was a 3 footer.

Also included photos of the cable and explained that there was no damage to the cable, just the gold pins on the Lightning end had turned black (seems to happen on all cables, but less on Apple's), in the first email. I suppose now that they have enough market share, they're trying to get out of any warranty replacements they can by making it a longer/more annoying process.

Apple may also want the old cable back. What's wrong with the return?

Usps employees get 50% off accessories at att stores and they warranty them for a year, they just look up the receipt on your account. I buy them for my whole family there (or when they have the dymo on sale at Best Buy). Warranty is painless. So if you know anyone there... it's another option for good cables.
