Was at the depot and found the EGO 2.0Ah batteries on clearance for $33.

Older battery packs, but still great deal none the less.

I see 8 in stock in my local store. Why do I need this if don't have any ego products 🤔

I just got the newer version to replace my dead one under warranty. The charging button on the battery now acts like a gauge when charging, not sure if it does while in use, haven't got that far yet.

Yes it does and is a big upgrade IMO. While using the tool the remaining gauge stays lit and the bars decrease with use so you do not have to press the button. The 2.5 gave me 8 minutes and 56 seconds with the 530 blower on high turbo continuous test.

I mean I'd buy them all. Planning on switching to Ego stuff this year.

But I had the opposite problem. When I bought ego stuff they all came with a battery. Plus there was a promotion to get an extra battery. Luckily the extras could be returned for partial credit. But I still ended up with several extra batteries.
