I have this is my truck and it works great. Pairs quickly and I haven't had any issues with connectivity. The only notable con is that the mic is located on the unit itself and when I use it for calls people complain I sound very distant. I've been on the receiving end of a family's call from it and can confirm it sounds faint but passable. If call quality is important I'd look elsewhere.

FWIW, if you have an older car without bluetooth built in, this is a no-brainer device especially at $10.

They work as well as the bluetooth aux adapters provided you find a clear FM channel (easy enough even in urban areas), they dont have the feedback loop whine (you know it if you have it), and Anker support is great along with a handful of useful (if superfluous) features on the Roav companion app. This is one of my top five "practical" gifts to friends and family. Thanks OP for posting and hope this helps!

I've tried quite a number of these types of devices & none of them work well for phone calls unless they have a separate wired remote with microphone that can be mounted more directly in front or above the driver's voice. Those gooseneck ones don't do the trick and they seem to have the wiring in the neck so tight that they wind up breaking in well under a year. Since I'm frequently in different vehicles for work, I've given up on anything but a good Plantronics Bluetooth earpiece for calls.

Back to OP, this is indeed a good transmitter. I especially like that it doesn't have a volume control on it like most others (unless it's in that app I've never bothered with) - why transmit at anything other than near max? Who needs THREE volume control to worry about (the phone's and the radio's are more than enough to deal with). Only issue I have (that I honestly haven't bothered taking the time to try to solve) is that it's very inconsistent about resuming play once it automatically reconnects to my phone (which it does very quickly, BTW - typically before I've even finished getting back in the vehicle), but I strongly suspect that it's either Android itself or the app I'm using to play music that is at fault for that.

Only wish it had quick charge, but at this price that's a minor complaint.

I have had this for a while and it works very well. Recently got my invite to Echo Auto, so I am now able to connect to Echo Auto with my 16 year old car.

Just wanted to say I got this last week on the same deal. It works great. It replaced a working Roidmi 2 Bluetooth FM transmitter from xiaomi. This one has much clearer transmission without static atleast in my car. This is in NYC too. It does t have an app which can be a pro as well, the roidmi 2 had an app to set the frequency, this one you have to set it manually which is slower. I have mine hidden away in the center console box and it works fine from there.

Got this one last time. Sound is clear, pairs quickly, and never disconnects. Haven't used the charger so I can't speak to its capabilities, but it's a great transmitter and a no brainer at this price, especially if your vehicle doesn't have built in Bluetooth.

So this will work to transmit Pandora to my car speakers ? My 2012 Accord doesn't have Bluetooth.

Audio even with aux is not great. Way on the high-end side with no low-end. Buzzes at higher volumes. I love the concept and how easy to work, but I can't get past the bad audio quality when I get better with an extra connector.
