First discount on the Nintendo eShop for Final Fantasy IX (digital download). Price is 20% off, $16.79 (normal is $20.99).

Everyone has their opinion, but this is my favorite Final Fantasy in the series.

I'm biased, but I absolutely think this one is worth playing whether you've experienced it before or not. Compared to FF7 and FF8, this one takes itself less serious and the characters are a bit more fun/comical IMO. Like all Final Fantasy games, music is absolutely amazing.

It's the best PS era FF (after Tactics) and the one most like the golden age of 6 and 4. Worth a buy IMO.

One of my favorite FF games, and one of my all-time favorites! Square Enix needs to remake FF8 - FF10 after the FFVII remake! Please

I see some other version for 40 on Amazon, Zodiac Age. Is it better ver like with DLC?
That's Final Fantasy XII. Completely different game.

That's ff12, different game. I'm playing through it now, it's pretty good imo.

7, 8, and 9 are all completely different in terms of visual style and overall story--but all 3 are masterpieces. Of the 3, I think IX had the best music (though VIII is a very close second).

Not a fan of X (that goes double for X-2), but we're otherwise in complete agreement. 1-6, I could honestly live without them (I know I'm in the minority here, especially when it comes to 6).

I only like the ones that were in the modern era - I hate medieval themed games which many western rpgs are.

Same, 10 was just really linear to me. Basically could not pay attention and still beat the game
