Keep in mind these are semi bass heavy. They're great for modern music, video games, and movies/tv. The clamping pressure is a bit much at first but adjusts over time or you can manually stretch them (the entirety of the headband is flexible metal). I recommend the XL ear pads since they improve the audio signature and add more in the way of comfort. Add a Boompro mic and you've got an infinitely better gaming headset than you'll find from dedicated gaming headsets.

I've had these headphones for a few years now and they are worth every penny. However: BUY THE XL PADS. Like OP said, it makes a big difference

Must be good sounding for wireless... overall their sound is not very good. Switched to their M-100's (wired). Night and day difference. I'd rather have good sound with wires than poor sound without.

Excellent cans!!

Purchased some aftermarket memory foam xl cushions and these became an instant favorite of mine.

They are my go to travel headphones.
BTW, this is gonna go fp.

This is a steal at $99; see reviews on Head-Fi here: https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/...ess.20931/.

Relative to the M50's the are definitely more bass-heavy, but also more comfortable, in my opinion. Comfort-wise these have a lot of "clamp," but can be stretched (using a tissue box overnight, for example), and actually end up giving less clamp than the M50's, which I found less forgiving in this regard. They also leak more sound because of the vents, meaning they are not true "close-backed" headphones. So if you're planning on using them as an alternate to noise-canceling or to block out sound you should skip them.

All that said, these are an AMAZING sounding headphone (or "can" if I want to sound pretentious) and a fantastic price for a wireless headphone of this quality at this price.

Note also that the Silver/White and Red/Black versions are also on sale. Thanks OP!

I'm sorry but even with the XL pads these are the most uncomfortable headphones I've ever worn. They sound OK - for the price worth it but the comfort is really poor. Buyer be warned.

I have had a pair of these for about 7 or so years and I love them. I think they are excellent for the price. I never bought the XL pads and still find them to be moderately comfortable for about 2 hours at a time before they bug me. Voda boom pro makes them double as a gaming headset, plus the custom shield plates that v Moda does are always awesome. Not the absolute best, but a great mix of quality and style, and as you can tell, they have the ability to last if you take care of them!

I was actually just looking at the Crossfade LP II's and the m-80's and m-100's. Are there significant differences between them all? I have been considering another pair.

Anybody use these on planes? I've been trying to find a pair that can block out the loudness (as much as possible) while traveling.

The headband on their headphones will eventually crack and peel away, and there's no way to replace them. Contacted support and they said it isn't covered by their warranty.

XL Pads. Great gaming headset and travel companion for various needs. Pop them off my mixamp, switch on BT walk around all day, come back and game. They're really great and attractive. Definitely worth 100 bucks, and the 40 or so extra for XL pads and a boom mic.
