Hybrid / Fitness bikes

Hey guys and gals-
I want to get into some casual biking. Went window shopping for bikes today and noticed the ranges are between 400-700 dollars. Anyone know if these bikes go on sale?

I'd say that's right. That's why I don't want to go crazy dropping 500+ on a bike.

I would add GT to the list. I've got a 2016 GT Transeo and it was $700+ out the door.

It was my first "decent" bike and it really does make a difference in comfort and ease of riding.

They do have closeouts on bikes starting now. The new model year is coming out. Try Dicks Sporting Goods or REI. I have seen a few good sales.

However, I would suggest buying locally. Most come with a warranty and it's nice to have someone tune the bike for you.

My local store went out of business. Bummer.
