Looks to be the cheapest price it's been in a year using Amazon price history.

I've used this for various woodworking projects over the past couple years & absolutely love it. 6'x5' farm table, a barn door, shiplap, along with smaller projects such as shelves and flags. As you can probably tell, I need to add a parental lock on HGTV or Pinterest. But a happy wife, yada yada yada..

No issues to report. Hasn't overheated once, backing plate is still in excellent shape, and vibration isn't too crazy. It's loud, but that's to be expected.

Decent deal for a quality tool that I wouldn't hesitate to pay full price for.

Lowe's has it for the same price. Add $1 filler and use $10 off $50.

I have this one with the 'hard case' instead of the bag. The hard case is nice because it has a template to put on the sanding dics on with the holes aligned. I'm not sure if the bag has a tool with the same template or if it warrants almost the the price for the hard case version.

The sander is very nice and works well, although the dust collector can be difficult to remove and needs to be cleaned frequently when removing lots of material.

Menards website is showing the final price as $59-$6.49(11%)=$52.41.. am I missing something? should i ask for price match?

edit: just called menards and they say they will price match after they subtract the 11% from their price so in this case the total is 52.41 after 11% so they will price match to just $49.00

I found it's really hard to get a valid Lowe's code.

Glad to hear. Planning on building a coffee table and some other simple furniture when I move in a month.

What sanding discs are you using? Leaning towards just getting an assortment of Mirka Golds from Amazon.

Gonna try to grab it tomorrow.

I wonder if this sander will survive a 10*10 deck and 7*7 (light stain)?

Rent a floor sander and save your back.
