IRWIN Marples 8-in 12-Tooth Dado Blade for $69.30

You can apply a $10 off coupon to make it sweeter $59.30

https://brickseek.com/lowes-inven...1000237067

PS: Brickseek is not showing the right price(don't know why). Attaching the receipt as proof (maybe for a pricematch ?)

Not putting YMMV since I think brickseek is broken

Good luck guys

Peace

It's definitely YMMV. Its still normal price ($99) for all the stores around me.

Try this link. Not sure what's different but I've been watching it locally. Waiting for it to drop a bit more as I'm not in dire need of a dado set.

Because I abhor having to swap blades and fine tune the stack, I haven't used my dado blades in a long time. Instead, I usually use my router or, if I only have a few to do, I use my table saw sled with some stop blocks.

Nick Ferry has a pretty good video showing the table saw sled method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQ0_my3ZGmg

Totally agree with you jeff34270. I'm new to dado-s. I tried the router way, but it is painful(unless it is a small box joint). I used to use a fence mounted jig for lap joints... but soon realized that dado-s have their place in a shop. Thanks for Nick's video..If you are interested, you can see a better one (kerfmaker) here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNZWlLPw0HI

Just bought one for $54 at Southington, CT Lowes. No other Lowes within 100 miles of me has them at that price.
