I bought 6 of these last year. 4 of them dried up and failed. Supposed to be closed loop but they dry up and overheat your cpu 200+ degrees.

There was an interesting video on Linus tech tips recently - basically a good air cooler was both quieter and cooler than these AIOs. These AIOs serve other purposes, but I would not buy one thinking it's going to perform better

It's been like that since these started hitting the market. They're still relying on fans so automatically it's no better than an air cooler in terms of sound. Performance wise as well, there will still be better air coolers on the market and most of the time costing less. However where AIO units really shine is where space is an issue. My enclosure can't handle a tall air cooler, that limits my options. However, I can easily fit one of these in there and that's similar to other builds with similar space restrictions. Depending on the setup, an AIO cooler like this fits that need perfectly.
