If you already have Greenworks 40V tools, I would recommend the Pole Hedge Trimmer for about the same price:

For some reason I only see it at Walmart right now, but I got mine on Amazon, it'll probably come back there.

I have this. Very good product, but it's still a corded, electric product... meaning heavy at the business end and the cord gets in the way, falls out, etc... also, need to have a long, heavy-duty cord ($$$+++) cord if you're going to be away from an outlet. You'll, of course, have to gather up the cord when you're done.

FWIW, I prefer using my neighbor's 2 cycle. It is more evenly weighted and there's no cord, and costs a bit more. I'm in the process of replacing my corded lawn tools with ICE models.

Grabbing one, thanks. Been waiting for one of these. Reviews seem good other than some whiners about it being heavy - anything is heavy when you give it 13' of leverage on you.

I have a huge 15' tall by about 30' wide hedge to trim and don't want to "buy in" to a cordless tool set yet. I just bought my home.

Anybody else have an irrational fear of these types of tools?

Every time I see one, I have to grab my junk for protection.

Freakin heebie jeebies giving pieces of junk.

Have one of these. For as few times of the year that I use it, I find it well worth the hassle of the extension cord. Works quite well for my needs, and other family members they see it and want to borrow it.

Last picture shows a woman using it. Stop complaining about it being heavy or scary. In for 1 (for the wife)

I've been using hedge trimmers since I was about 12 years old. There's absolutely no reason to fear them. I more fear sunbathing snakes laying on top of my hedges 😬
