So you're saying it's a wash, minus the chance it might last longer than two years and I'm money ahead. I'll take my chances and buy it. Assuming it has a 1 year warranty so if it died between year 1 and 2 is the only way I'd lose money. Dirty condenser would be the biggest problem I'd imagine.

I am not op but You can rent at Costco for $2. I saw them last week where the guy said you can rent this thing but the actual water was like $7 for 5 gallons I think
