My family LOVES getting magazines in the mail. They are easier on the eyes and tangible. Not everyone wants a digital format. For those that prefer digital, most magazines can be had for free online via the public library system using RB Digital, and they are current issues.

I miss when this magazine was 12 per year. It's really good. Lots of fun articles.

So do I

Emphasis was on PAY. Not on digital or paper copy.

There are other means often to get free paper magazines. So still wondered if people actually PAY to get paper magazines. These magazines in this day and age are usually funded almost by Ads and subscription revue is marginal fraction. Not sure on this specific magazine. But with decline in general in paid unaffiliated subscriptions.

Don't magazine subscription always have "free shipping". I cannot imagine subscribers paying for shipping.

So you were in the mindset that no one pays for any magazines? Yes...people do pay for them. Not all magazines are free.

You can choose "renewal" when you order.
Thanks, OP, for this. Excellent magazine. "Discount Mags" added state sales tax; hadn't noticed before....

Our apologies, clearly, you are far too important to pay for magazines. I wish I was you.

Of note, this is not "discovery" magazine that some of you might link to Discovery channel on TV. It is not. I find this magazine full of advertisements and not much articles to read. Also the articles are superficial and boring.

Won't subscribe again.

Still a good magazine, but I agree, lots of advertisements. But that's pretty much what keeps these magazines running... you think a $7 membership is going to pay all the bills vomit

Correct! Most savvy SDers have found alternate means to have them free by now, and so many ways, most learnt here and at FW. So yes please continue to subsidize these ad filled mags for the rest of us
