Why is it so costly seriously? Likely I will get TD for this question.

If you are truly cutting thicker cables like 1/0 or something, you won't want to try that with smaller diagonal cutters that most normal people have.
This has a use for people cutting a lot of thicker wires

What a great deal. I could not pass it up. Thank you. They cost $59.06 at tooltopia.com. That is where I usually get my tools because they have good prices on tools.

Your question is fine. Knipex is a high quality brand of hand tools. Their stuff is built to last... built with precision and won't let you down. I have many of their tools and am usually all over any knipex Deal, but these are highly specialized cutters made for cutting thick wire. Most cutters will push thick wire outward, where these will give you a nice clean cut in one go. They'll stay sharp for year and years. I snip nails and screws with my knipex diagonal cutters and they are still as sharp as ever.

99/100 SD users probably don't need these... but it's still a good deal.

Yeah but cutting cable is such a significant savings with how cable companies charge an arm and a leg these days, you'll pay for em in less than a month. I am completely serious in this post.

Is the deal dead? The link takes me to the "available from these sellers" page. None of the listed sellers have it at the price mentioned in the post. Am I missing something? I actually really need these! Frown

Deal seems dead unfortunately. For me at least its only available from third party sellers.

Its a professional quality tool from a trusted brand that's made in Germany. Its not a budget Chinese made tool. And as far as German tools go, its actually not even the most expensive, a GermanHazet cable shear [amazon.com] would cost you over $100.
