275 + 25 2 year insurance not a bad deal considering its blk Friday price of 225 out the door on a hectic day.

Overall with a tune up on picture settings the TV is pretty damn good for the price your paying .

Hdr is useable on this TV and is bright enough . Unlike the tcl s405 that's hdr is garbage and only looks good on dark mode hdr ...

I have the 1080p version of this, so idk how it compares. Assuming it's the same thing, it's a great value TV. However I absolutely hate the ruko UI. It's really slow and tries to cater to the non-techy crowd. Brightness/contrast adjustments are under ADVANCED SETTINGS 🤯

Speakers are balls but that's nothing new. Also the response time is rather superb and gaming is a treat on it.

I got this TV for about $220 with the Discover pricematch (which doesn't exist now) at black friday 2017. I like the RF remote and even have automatic volume leveling when many Roku TV os 9.0 don't even have it. It is not a bad TV, but considering that many HDTV's have amazon fire TV might be a better choice.

Had I known 4K tv's were available at THIS price point, I would've purchased an Xbox One X instead of the Xbox One S...

Dammit!

Ah well. I think I'd likle a 120Hz Refresh Rate anyways.
You and me both, buddy

Anyone know how the screen looks on this when mostly white? I need one for an office to cast presentations to and need one with bright, uniform whites without clouding on the sides and corners or discoloring.

I got this at $180 for 2017 Black Friday. Works fine, although produces better video output when using apps on my Xbox connected to it.

I would say no. Low end TV's don't have uniform backlighting compared the Medium range or higher end tv's.

I have used an onboard Roku app before, and it was indeed slow. That was a couple years ago on a completely different tv.
However, my standalone Roku that I use never ever has any slowdown issues... So maybe the issues are fixed?
Regardless, The UI is the same for both, and I love it, even though I'm part of the 'techie' crowd. It's simple to navigate and you can search across all streaming platforms for the content you are looking for.

I found a satisfactory model near me for under $150. I need this size or slightly bigger - I can't decide to pull the trigger on it.

I need to buy a TV for my living room. Its pretty cheap ($230 with google express) compared to Samsung NU7100/NU6900 ($380/$330 at BestBuy). Can anybody please suggest me if I should go for this deal or spend $100/140 more to get a Samsung TV?

Also, should I wait couple of weeks more to get Independence day sale?

I have this tv. For the price it's hard to beat. I personally like the roku UI and wish more tvs had it. I constantly use the * button to change the picture settings. Because during the day normal on bright is what I use and movie mode on a darker setting at night I use because it changes the color temp and it's more relaxing. But you can also change the color temps. It's a tv you should for sure configure because out the gates I wasn't too impressed with the image quality at first.

And I paid 330 over a year ago.

Also you can download a roku app and control the whole unit with your phone. It also makes for good fun messing with someone when their new tv "freaks out"

For those of you considering this screen, it may be a good TV but it is worth knowing the following information.

"According a lawsuit filed by Sharp's new parent company Foxconn, the advertised specs—such as resolution, picture size, and overall brightness—may be bogus."
