I guess it's technically a puzzle platformer. They are perspective puzzles. You move Toad normally, but you basically rotate the levels around so that different parts of them are visible. There may be secrets or paths that you can only see from a certain angle.

YMMV of course, but I was able to get the online price match person to not just match but give me my GCU discount as well. I was not expecting that, but it was great! I've always been told (in store) that it was one or the other, but I used the chat feature on the site and they gave me $13.75 back despite my base cost of only $31.99

Downloaded the demo for this. Wasn't my cup of tea but good deal nonetheless.

I thought the game play was really fun, but I also feel like this should be $20 for the amount of content. I also have a Wii U, and you can grab a copy for pretty cheap, which is why it's frustrating that Switch is double the cost or more simply because its on the Switch. Anyways, not a bad deal if you don't have Wii U copy, just wish it was priced more appropriately.

To be fair, there are some extra levels and a co-op mode added. Good game; very consumable and satisfying. At this price, a good deal, but for those of us who played the Wii U iteration, probably a safe bet to wait for a cheaper price.

I agree with you, but this does have extra level (maybe more) from Mario Odyssey. I own it for the WiiU as well, but my dog destroyed the power brick before I could really get into it, so I'm also waiting for that magic under $20 price point at Best Buy so I can use my GCU as well.

Not to mention cartridges cost more to produce than DVDs.

Good point, but I will probably still wait. It's one of those games that you can pick up now or in 5 years and have the same experience. There's no pressing urgency to play it. I will admit that the level design is great and it has that Nintendo magic and charm for sure.

This is a fun pick up and put down type of game, I played it in between playing more involved games when I just had 10-15 minutes to kill.
