After a disgusting amount of research and looking at consumerlab research and reviews, the Members Mark 1400mg Wild Alaskan fish oil was the best value available. It ranked highly in quality and label accuracy and was much cheaper than others that scored the same or below it. It's the only stuff I will buy now. I would be curious to see if the Kirkland 1400mg Alaskan fish oil is similar.

Doesn't seem good. Very low EPA/DHA. And that low amount is for 2 capsules. Good brands have more EPA/DHA in a single capsule. Pass.

Sure. I guess you could pop a handful of these everyday, but sure won't last long doing that.

The mg number is kind of confusing because my understanding is that it's totally irrelevant; you're looking for the mgs of EPA/DHA. You can have a 2000 mg fish oil with a lower dose of the EPA and DHA than a 1000 mg cap.

It's 360 mg of Omega-3 per 1200 mg softgel. Serving size is 2 softgels so 2400 mg of softgels for 720 mg of Omega-3.

I get these 1200 mg capsules a lot cheaper from BJs after combining coupon. 2 bottles of 200 capsules each = 400 capsules. 1 bottle comes out to be about 7 bucks.

That's sort of like asking what's in an orange besides Vitamin C, you know? The amount of EPA and DHA is what's important. I actually used to work at Nature Made about 3 years ago and I worked with our science and quality teams. Really good company that really cares about the quality and sourcing of their products. I very much recommend over private label and other unknown brands.
