This is a very capable bag for the price. I have the 100aw version (which has a few less features) of this and love it when I'm not carrying more than 2-3 lenses (I have a nikon D7200). The pads are easy to moved and configure, but typically the configuration they are in the pic is the best I've found. Easily fits a prime lens on either side. It's light, small enough to not make it feel heavy or hot if walking around all day, and quick/easy to 'sling' in front of you to get to your gear. Although it has a tripod straps for carrying, I don't recommend it. Really throws off the balance and is a bit cumbersome. I'd recommend a bigger bag if you want to carry your tripod. Carrying a (light) monopod is fine.

Lowepro makes great stuff. Used to use cheap Case Logic bags, then grabbed a Lowepro Photo Hatchback BP 150 AW II from a previous Slickdeal and haven't looked back. Much better overall and the weight distribution is a significant improvement, as well as the bag layout.

I also own a Lowepro backpack for my daily commute and have liked it as well.

For anyone interested in this, there are a ton of nice lens + accessory combo packs from sellers on ebay that include this style of bag essentially for free. I got a $300 lens + this type of bag, sd card, lens filters, cleaners, monopod etc all thrown in for the normal price of the lens. Seller was Digital Goja. Great deal, especially when combod with the quarterly ebay coupons.

Its a "SLING BAG". It needs to be relatively smaller rather compact so it can be moved around the body. Its not a backpack 🎒

I owned this, and while it's not bad for a cheap bag, the lowepro is much better

I had a Targus sling and the strap has worn away a lot. This looked like a good replacement, but looking at the pics in more detail it will only hold a DSLR with a medium sized lens because you have to flip it 90 degrees to fit. Targus fits a D800 with 24-70 attached plus two other lenses and it's still compact. While on B&H I saw another option though and looks like a better deal to me... bit bigger, reputable brand. I bought it instead.

I use both the AW203 and the AW303. I love them. My favorite bags of all time.
