I also got this deal, so gotta give you my initial feedback:
the good:
-mouse is very light (70 grams measured including the duracell battery, 47 g without it)
-keyboard keys are big, so good for thick fingers, some may call mushy but makes less sound
-batteries included (advertised to last 1 year at least, one AA for the mouse, two AAA for keyboard)
-design looks cool and slick
the bad:
-the plastic is very cheap, the worst I have seen on logitech ever (what da ya expect eh?) even the mouse scroll bar is cheap plastic that hardly grips
-no unifying support - nowadays unifying receiver has become a privilege
the ugly:
-randomly disconnects which results in mouse lagging all over. first I noticed it while trying a shooter game (CSGO) and thought it may be the game and tried another (borderlands) and still the same issues. not very noticable on office tasks or browsing all the time somehow but sometimes happens even on just the desktop. frequently it misses my keystrokes albeit due to communication issues. I have my pc right next to the desk, so it is not due to distance, or at least it should not.
so my final verdict is: spend just a little more and get something more reliable. seems like logitech tried the absolute cheapest. this product may destroy the trust for logitech quality.

I bought this yesterday, but I have an issue with this combo - sometimes keyboard and mouse have unresponsive, mouse runs all over difficult to point to a location. How to fix this issue?

I'm not familiar with this particular combo, but I would try to update the driver from Logitech, and if that didn't change things, next try a fresh set of batteries.

Also, if you're using the receiver on a hub, try plugging it directly into a USB port, preferably USB 2 or lower.

Didn't look to see if someone else answered or not. I went through this. Put the receiver USB far away from other USB devices (especially 3.0 ones) if you can. In my case, somehow, my USB 3.0 thumb drives were interfering with it. When I moved the USB receiver to the other side of my laptop and to a Usb 2.0 slot, this issue went away. Good Luck.

I had the same issues, I put this on a USB 3.0 slot furthest away from my other devices. So far it's working, no lag or disconnects yet.

i've used this combo for 2 years in an office environment everyday. I have never had any disconnecting issues and a single AA has lasted well over a year.

the only negative I have with it is that it relies on screen notifications for CAPS and NUM locks. the work PC I use never displays them but I'd say that could be the way it is setup.

i've used the mouse on my leg and chair arm rest (get bored) with no issue. keyboard is squishy (soft) which i don't mind for office work.

it is not bad at all, but will upgrade to one with lighted caps/num.

I bought this combo, but didn't like the tiny mouse. I had another logitech mouse (performance laser) lying around that takes 2 aa batteries every few months, but I love it, so that's the mouse I choose

The keyboard has been great. I type all day at work, well over a year on a set of batteries. Quietest keyboard I've owned. Reliable, stays connected, types well.

I like it so much, I'm buying another combo just to get the keyboard.

I wanted to get one but there's no stores near me for pickup. They permanently closed years ago. So shipping ain't worth it for just this item.
