The solid wood legs of this classic poker table are stained a dark mahogany brown for an elegant addition to any game room. Plus, cushioning on the rail of the table looks inviting and makes play around the table comfortable. With 6 cup holders to keep your favorite drink close, and a steel cross bar for reinforcement, this table is built to withstand the wrath of epic loses and the triumph of unlikely wins. -slickdewmaster

Poker tables should be round-ish. Hexagon.
Looks like this would only fit 4 comfortably. 6 if you put people at the ends, but their legs would be bumping the legs of the table and they likely wont be able to reach the center of the table.

Over on BoardGameGeek, everyone that's gotten it seems to like it.

So much so I bought one the other day (for the $135).

Anyways, it sounds like you just remove 30 screws to remove the side rails and then the felt can be removed from there pretty easily. They do say there's a couple of spots where the felt is glued down though.

I bought this last year from Jet from about $190 after tax. It came with the cup holders coming out (they were hot glued in) so Jet refunded $20. Worth it at that price. I have played with 6 people and its worth the asking price. I hate the stock printing on the felt, and the cup holders are a little small, but this is a really good price for it. I play all kinds of table top games, from Munchkin to Drunk Quest to Smash Up, lots of varying size layouts and it has been great. Eventually I want a legitimate board game table but am not ready to commit $1000 and am not skilled enough to make one or convert this one, so its a great stop gap.

Looks like a good deal. Just wish the top (felt) was replaceable or flippable to make this more of a general game table.

Some of the reviews talked about people "taking the entire thing apart" to replace the felt but thats a lot of work.

On the fence about this but a great post...

Wow, that looks a heck of a lot nicer than I expected for $135. Good find, OP.

Don't discount a padded felt top for board games, either. Boards and cards don't slide around as much, and it's much easier to pick stuff up off the table than from a hard surface. I've been considering gaming pads for the kitchen table when I host game night.

Hence why they are taking it apart to make it into a gaming table.. But a hexagon would be awesome for games as well. Makes it easier for everyone to see the board and cards.

Nice quality but seats 6? That's the problem really. We don't run a game with only 6 players. Bummer.

Real easy solution. Buy a piece of would to spec, sand, finish and now you have a cover/table top.

That's what I did with a similar table.

135lb shipping weight has me questioning the quality.

In comparison I have the American heritage bandit table. 200lbs and doesn't move when leaning against it. The shipping weight was roughly 260 if I remember and was delivered on its own pallet.

On the other hand $135 is incredibly cheap and you get what you pay for. Won't find a new table at this price.

That felt is cheesy but the build quality looks pretty decent. Anyone got any good ideas for uses?

Anyone know if you could add a ping pong table top to this and use it as a ping pong table? Something like:

https://www.amazon.com/JOOLA-Conv...way&sr=8-4

If so, this is a great deal

why not just use a much cheaper short plastic folding table if you just need a surface to lay a ping pong table on.
