None of either close to me anywhere near these prices according to BS. Good deals if you can get them.

Cowboy is (was) my favorite for flavor and it cooks well but can not find it around here anymore. Royal Oak is now my preferred lump charcoal.

I like royal oak better for the cheaper lump category. I find it has a little more of the larger pieces in the bag than the cowboy, but may just be my experience. Don't expect a lot of medium to large pieces in the cowboy.

Nearest Lowes for me that has the Cowboy lump is an hour away. Kind of a shame, I'd have bought every bag they have.

Tried Royal Oak on the recommendation of another Slickdealer, it's legit, actual lump pieces and no rocks compared to Cowboy

At $16 a bag it blows. At $10 a bag I still wouldn't buy it. At $5 or less id pick some up. I much prefer Royal oak. Even if a bit more expensive.

I'm a big fan of the pro when cooking on a Weber kettle, much more consistent temps and also longer lasting.

They are usually in a random spot. Last time I had a sale like this first employee told me they were sold out. Second one I asked knew exactly where they were.
