Is this robot vacuum reliable? First timer in this market. Want to get a good one for piles of dog hair! TIA

I wouldn't trust any robovac to be "reliable" without a good warranty. They all break eventually. That said, I had an older eufy that was fantastic

We have a Eufy 11+ (older model) and it's worked wonderfully for our golden retriever's hair. You have to empty it after each run but it's so nice to not have to vacuum daily. The 30C is quieter and stronger suction. We did have an issue with ours and Eufy exchanged it without issue.

Note that Eufy is owned by Anker now, and they're a pretty well-known brand when it comes to electronics on Amazon.

I picked up the 15C earlier this month and like it. Though now I wish I'd waited -- the 30C is stronger and cheaper.

I have this model for a while and no issues whatsoever. Cleans ok for a budget vacuum this price. Also, being owned by Anker, they have one of the best customer service for online electronic company

I'm in the market as well, but at this point I figure I'll hold out for prime day and see what they have.

I have both the Eufy 11 and later 30 series. They have good suction, but the cleaning algorithm and sensor is not as good.

Often time, it'll go on a straight line and suddenly just turned around, even when there is nothing in the path. It also spent a lot of time in just one area until the battery is dead. I ended up have to steer the vacuum with the remote.

My old Roomba never had this issue.

I am waiting with for the next iteration with better algo and sensor.

Same problem with mine. Family and dogs also leave things that cause it to be stuck. It tends to not try a second time. Most times I can launch the app or have Alexa retry clean mode and it's good. Its beeping when stuck is really loud and annoying. I know the purpose of it but there's no way to disable it either. I sent their customer support but it needs more people to request this as an enhancement.

I got the irobot 614 3yrs ago and the irobot 652 2 yrs ago. 1 dog and 2 cats. Both irobots working fine but i do clean them regularly. They are run twice a wk. They catch the pet hair but you do need to clean the brushes cause you can get a large buildup. Also noticed that irobots have quite a few spare parts on ebay. I did replace the sidebrush myself on the 652 (part from ebay) but it was quite simple. Irobots are the only ones I have owned so I cant comment on others but I have been quite satisfied. Also the virtual wall sensor is very handy.

I have the 11S which is very similar to this (minus the wifi) - it's reliable but it's mostly good for dusting hardwood floors. I don't think it would hold up to tons and tons of dog fur. I'd look for something more proven with pet hair
