I was browsing around my local Dollar Tree in Portland Oregon and came across this. For $1 it was a steal, great for shoes, camping stuff ect... of course YMMV.

The link from Home Depot is for refrence. The home depot price is $15

Thanks for the heads up. Like to see if this is local or other nationwide stores have it.

CHICAGO - I've seen them in Dollar Tree stores since 2 months ago, at least. Didn't buy them bc reviews were poor on Amazon and also (I think) Home Depot.

This has been posted before. I bought a couple at my local dollar shop a couple months ago.

Cool product, what are people using it for?

They had this last year and I saw it recently a few weeks ago as well. Manged to snag some ok quality polo shirts (just plain, no promo material) too.

Yeah, this was on a sale a while ago. Maybe they got more in stock. Good for things that get wet but don't have much contact other than that (friction and soap will remove it). Leaves a milky/frosted surface, so it won't look that great on shoes depending on the color.

Trust me when I tell you this stuff is junk, and will turn anything you spray with it into a foggy glazed color.

This has been at DollarTree for years. Very poor reviews online.

The packaging clearly states this product is not for fabric.

Doesn't mean you can't use it. Or like how OP says shoes...

Not worth it...I picked this up at my Dollar Tree like 6 months ago, followed the instructions (used it on a vinyl? windowsill in a tub/shower that would consistently stay wet and wanted it to repel the water.) It 'worked' for like a day or so, then it all just washed off. Save your $1.

Yes I also bought one from my local Dollar tree. Can't lose much for a dollar. I was gonna use it on an old pair of shoes.
