It's not a bottleneck and it will perform great with that GPU.

$50 less than last time. Honestly a great deal, if 60hz is not a problem.

Can anyone anyone tell me if the 8gb ram is single channel? Can't find the information anywhere on the web. Looking to upgrade to 16gb

Where do u see open-box for $680?

It is a common practice on SD that open-box refer to open-box excellent or certified. Especially when it comes to BB.
Open-box here start at $728. Thumb down for incorrect information.

For about $150-$200 more, you can get the GA502 which has a 120Hz display and bumps up the vid card to a 1660Ti which is a nice upgrade for 1080p gaming.

Is the 1650 rated as worse than a 1060?

Ryzen 7 isn't bad. It's just more inline vs a i5 8300 instead of a i7.
