Interesting, router only, I didn't know they made routers without integrated modems.

They are commonly referred to as Wireless gateways and have existed for some time. More so now that ISPs want to minimize house visits to troubleshoot your internet.

Only problem I see with this one is 100Mpbs ports for a AC setup limits the bandwidth.

Just bought a Netgear CM1100 Modem from the Costco deal. Would this be a good router for that?

Guess I'm used to seeing it listed as 10/100/1000 Base-T

Yeah, right....
And how exactly you are supposed to activate a router?

Lol, dude ummm you dont know what you are talking about unfortunately. This is not like a stolen cellphone that gets blocked. Modems dont get their macs blocked across multiple companies, heck modems dont even get blocked at your current company, they get put into wall garden. So used, or refurbed dont matter, any agent can re provision it if they know what they are doing and not following a script.

This is a router, there is no protection whatsoever on them, will work everywhere with anything that has Ethernet.

Got excited thinking these were modem and router together. Would have been a good backup.
