Important changes are coming to some of your Card Benefits.

The following is a summary of changes that are being made to your card benefits.

Effective September 22, 2019, Worldwide Car Rental Insurance, Trip Cancellation & Interruption Protection, Worldwide Travel Accident Insurance, Trip Delay Protection, Baggage Delay Protection, Lost Baggage Protection, Citi® Price Rewind, and 90 Day Return Protection will be discontinued and will no longer be provided for purchases made on or after that date. Coverage for purchases made before that date will continue to be available, and you may continue to file for benefits in accordance with the current benefit terms. Roadside Assistance Dispatch Service and Travel & Emergency Assistance will be discontinued and will not be available on or after September 22, 2019.

We are making these changes so that we can continue providing the key benefits that our customers use and value most at no additional cost. This change requires no action on your part. See FAQs under Card Benefits for answers to Frequently Asked Questions regarding these changes.

As a cardmember, you will continue to receive a range of other card benefits including FICO® Credit Score, Citi® Identity Theft Solutions, and Citi Entertainment.

And here's the message shown for my Citi Prestige:

I used it successfully last year on a couple of occasions. Haven't tried it this year, but I haven't received any notice that it's been discontinued.
You're right...it's still there $250 per claim

This one is going to get beat to death in its final days just like Discover was. People waited months to get approvals well after the cut off in October.

Citi is obliterating all benefits, it's crazy. They had the best line of benefits esp Travel Insurance. And now it's going to the worst (nothing)

Well.. that sucks! THis was the last card in my wallet that had the benefit. It made sense when they reduced the total to 1000$/year and 200/claim. But getting rid of it totally is just plain stupid. Stopped using Discover last year and I'll do the same with Citi now. Guess I'll use Amex for extended warranty, purchase and return protection.

Happens when we abuse the system 😟
How is it possible to abuse? Can't cheat or lie to get money back. 60 days to monitor and report lower price. Pain in the ass to upload receipts pictures old price new price then keep logging in to see if it got approved. Sometimes not approved so i had to call or resubmit all ingo again. Huge PITA but was worth it sometimes. Now i have even less reason to use visa. I have costco and dividend. Any other cards offer price rewind and extended warranty? I dont want to pay annual fees for credit cards.

This sucks. The citi Double Cash card was my favorite card. The 2% cash back is still great... but I will miss the price protection.

Utilizing credit card perks/offers/loopholes is a sprint not a marathon. Uber Visa still has 4 price protection claims per year, but I'm not sure if it can be used on black friday
