I got these a few years ago on the other Slickdeal. They are maybe a little weaker than magna tiles but honestly your kid won't know the difference. My now five year old certainly doesn't and she plays with real magna tiles every day at preschool.

Unfortunately not an option it seems, at least for me in CA.

EDIT: Now seems like there are more pickup options near me.

Likely similar quality but that's just a guess since I only have Picasso tiles. From what I've read most of these off brands are similar quality. There are some that are lower quality than Picasso tiles though. It's hard to know if these are in that lower tier without any reviews.

Any way for non-members to order? We don't have Sams club in the area so asking friends or neighbors is also not an option as most wont have the membership.

Despite being an avid slickdeals bargain-hunter, take my advice on this one: buy the Magna-tiles. Yes, they're a lot more expensive, but they are so superior to the other brands, and will provide your kids (and you even) with years and years of play.

I agree with Magna tiles being superior. We mostly have Magna tiles but recently purchased a couple of cheaper sets. Frankly my kids could care less if the tiles are Magna or another brand. They enjoy both the same. In my opinion, unless you are buying for a school like environment, just go with the cheaper brands which are often 1/3 of the cost. The kids dont care.
