This [newegg.com] is the real deal. I would be all over it if I was in the market for a system right now.

You guys are crazy. one guys makes a video of getting the wrong model and everyone thinks it's crap.

I own one and it's amazing for 899.

The dtw1 is shitty I will gladly admit that.

But the dtw2 fixes all the problems. You get usb 3.0 ports on the top panel. A better motherboard with 4 memory slots and usb c built in (no crap pci slot card like the dtw1) and you get 32 gb dual channel memory with a gtx 1080. The mobo on the dtw2 also has 2 m.2 slots as well and specs say it supports 9th gen intel chips and it uses solid capacitors.

Believe dumb people on YouTube or real life users. You pick. They obviously have money to gain by promoting other products while I don't...

Of course they are butt hurt that Walmart is offering this at a price they can't compete with.

Seems like a good deal since the processor and gpu costs $630 by itself and the memory would be around $150 so your paying a little over $200 for MB, case, power supply and windows which doesn't seem unreasonable.

That does look like a pretty nice deal. Seriously considering pulling the trigger. For future expansion, I can't tell if there are two free slots for RAM so I could just go 8GBx4 or if I'd have to buy two 16gb sticks and swap out the existing ones.

I would be really surprised if it doesn't have 4 ram slots.

If $ no object and need a good rig for flight simulator and general use, would a Dell Alienware be a better option? or this?

Haha it's so funny when people refer to computer models like they are car models or something. Imagine car models if they all had the same few engine and tranny combos, all the shocks, interiors and seats were pretty much the same. Just pick the engine you want (rtx 2060, rtx 2080 etc) and the look of the case you want, if it matters to you. i7 is better than i5 for the processor but if you aren't photo or video editing the i5 is fine. I think most flight simulators are pretty old and easy to run so the 2060 graphics card here would be plenty, and since you won't be doing a lot of upgrades this motherboard will be fine even though it's not high-end. But you said money is no object, so I would just get one with a 2080 and i7 or i9 processor in whatever case you like better. RTX 2080 Ti is even better but you really don't need to go that high.

Here's one that looks awesome for the flight simulator stuff since money is no object:
