PSU (power supply unit) is likely 180 or 240 watt to cut costs. If you're thinking of upgrading the graphics card you may need a bigger case and better PSU. I needed an adapter cable because my MOBO (motherboard) blocked longer cards so I now how my computer on its side with the top open and the GPU connected outside of the case.

I bought this recently and this is an excellent deal if you intend to use this AS IS w/o intent to upgrade or add any hardware to it.

I'd like to add an SSD as a boot drive for quicker boot times but I'm finding logistical issues w/ regards to connector cables and such.

Looks like a solid deal. I bought this same model last year with 8gb ram and without a video card for around $350 refurbished. Super easy to throw in an SSD and you're good to go. It has an empty NVMe slot and plenty of SATA slots, so no problem there.
The PSU on mine is 310w, but I believe it's hit or miss as some people are getting models with smaller PSUs. Regardless I believe you'll be able to fit any <75w video card. Anything bigger and you'll likely run in to problems with both PSU and case dimensions.

I don't know about a regular SSD, but I bought this same machine via the newegg deal last week and the Sabrent rocket NVME drive deal. Inserted the NVME drive in the m2 slot and cloned the hard drive using macrium reflect.

Great deal. I got the same model from big store on sale for $500 (reg $650), for 11 months works very well so far w/ a few minor issues. Can easily add an SSD or use the M.2 socket on the MB to add an SSD or optaine memory.
EDIT: too bad .....sold out as of 10PM.

So is this one!!!

Rakuten [resellerratings.com] is well known for selling returned/refurbished [resellerratings.com] items as new. This particular model, 590-p0057c, was only sold new at Costco (hence the c at the end). All other vendors selling this model are selling a returned/used item.

Visit the Adorama site [adorama.com] and you'll see this unit, at the same exact price, clearly labeled as 'Refurbished'. Beware of buying from Rakuten.

If they offer 1 year warranty, do you think I should buy it?
