Amazon [amazon.com] has the Zinus Cynthia 14 Inch MyEuro SmartBase / Wooden Slat / Mattress Foundation / Platform Bed Frame / Box Spring Replacement, Full for $53.41 (27% off) w/free shipping for Prime members.

Bought this for my daughter's new memory foam mattress a year ago, and it has been headache-free. Easy assembly; sturdy construction; no issues whatsoever. Current price is about as low as it has dropped in the past year or so, and $4 off the all-time low. Highly recommend.

Fits Full size mattresses.
  • Complete mattress support system - replacing both the frame & box spring
  • Easy to assemble in minutes / no tools required / not compatible with head board brackets
  • 14 wooden slats, center support bar and seven foldable legs provide strength and stability
  • Foam padded tape is added to the steel frame for noise-free use. Folds in half for easy storage and transport
  • 12.5 inches of clearance under the frame for valuable under bed storage space

I would not recommend any king size zinus frames without modifications. The unsupported lengths of the thin beams cause the beds to deflect severely. The legs of my zinus king made about a 1inch long scratch on my hardwood floors because of this. Also, the slats are very flimsy wood, similar to the kind used to make model airplanes. My wife and I combined are under 300lbs. Maybe the smaller frames are less bad.

To make the bed work, I would recommend constructing an additional center beam with legs out of Home Depot lumber at the very least. Cost of materials would probably run about $20.

Full and King sizes have the sale, but not the Queen. Part of me is trying to reason myself into purchasing a larger mattress so I can take advantage of the King-size frame deal, but I am trying to ignore that voice.

Just measured them. Slats are 2" wide x 3/8" thick, spaced 2 3/4" apart.

Just paid $109 for this early this month. Dangit.

Great frame though. Doesn't squeak. Not crazy heavy. Installation wasn't difficult. Can fit stuff under the bed. Recommended!

How are you supposed to attach headers and footers to this? I don't see any pre drilled holes.

Seeing the reviews saying bad lateral support, wobbly is turning me away.

I have this in King size. It has a 5 year warranty. After 3 years I had a leg break and they sent me an entire new one after a photo and a few emails. Now I have tons of spare parts.
