Great price for this considering it includes the 2x Batteries, Charger & Bag.

Best price I've seen on this item. I assume this deal won't last too long.

Looks like their rotary tool is also on sale with the same bundle:

I was just at Home Depot this morning and picked up this stapler+M12 battery combo for $99. The receipt shows "MAX REFUND VALUE $49.50" for each. I have no need for the batteries so I'll return them and keep the stapler.

They had a Milwaukee rep there unboxing all of this promo stuff - they had all of the $99 promo kits in stock (mentioned earlier in this thread) and plenty of each, although there were two other customers buying them as I walked in.

The website does not show local stores having these combos in stock, but they are in fact in stock - probably because its a "build your own" where you grab the battery kit then a tool of your choice.

I fastened a large garage full of batt insulation with one. This thing works great. After my hammer tack jammed about 15 times, I bought this.

Damnit, I waited for the price on the stapler alone to go below ~$75 for a while, finally ordered one last week. This is an awesome deal, I wonder if I need 2 staplers...

Nice, I saw this in store yesterday and it seems like a good deal. Especially considering the stapler itself was $100 by itself for the longest time. I'm still on the fence about it though, I just got the dewalt "carbon fiber" stapler from a recent deal on here and it worked well on a patio project. Now it's just a matter of "do I neeeed it?".

Interesting, so they are doing the same combos in-store? If the freebies are separate retail packages rather than special buy boxed sets you can usually return the freebies for the "max return value" on the receipt to make these combos even hotter.

I hope it is in store too. I just went to buy the stapler and I have a store credit from a return. Apparently you can only use a store credit in the store, not for online items, which is incredibly stupid.

This deal is in store. They have official signage and displays specific to this deal. I'm pretty sure it was only for the stapler, rotary tool, and multi-tool.
There was also a new deal on m18 battery kits with 1 "free" tool, but it didn't seem all that special.

Returns with a receipt are usually credited back to the original form of payment... the only time you run into this is non-receipt returns, where it's meant to discourage people from returning stolen goods and then selling the store credit gift cards.

I get that, but for legitimate customers, like me, who have a store credit, you are locked in to buying items in store and unfortunately most of the items posted as deals or that I need are online only.

It does suck....and most stores now will link a store credit to a form of ID (drivers license, etc). Im guessing the website will most likely never be updated to accept the information to verify a linked store credit, so we'll never be able to use them on the web.

Im not sure if there are different types of store credit, like one that is given without the need to link to an ID. Then maybe that could be used online.

Chat support said that some stores will convert a store credit to a gift card for online use, but if this deal is available in the store, I will just go that route.
