You missed the news of them being transferred over to a new company and the opening of 3 new format stores? Google please

If you have Sears store nearby, you may check out their clearance in store. I got a wool bomber jacket for $5 last week (original $120).

Just got a free 75" LG tv off of sears points, so thank you sears. Not sure if people hating on them is good for me getting more points or them just wasting money on Amazon and the like?

The hedge fund that drove them into bankruptcy was allowed to buy the remnants back out of bankruptcy for pennies on the dollar.

Im surprised that the Hedge fund even rebrought them out, Toys R Us and other retailers had Hedge funds drop them and never came back.

Toys R Us is already planning a comeback. Smaller scale stores but 15-20 on initial rollout.

For that price it's not a bad set. Sadly Craftsman is no longer one of the best non professional tool makers out there otherwise this would be a steal. I have not heard good things about them for the last 10 or so years. I would say you at least get a lifetime warranty but who knows Sears future. Yet with all that said the price for those tools is still good. I can't speak for the rest of the items.

Craftsman is now owned by Black & Decker, so quality might go even further down. Sears sold it years ago, so you now see Craftsman at other stores.

Love buying garbage from Sears and Kmart. The best garbage there can be. No retailer has better garbage. Best fail rate, great customer failure, fantastically overpriced garbage! I'm amazed they're doing soooo bad. It truly is a mystery.
Missing the deal of 100% point back on their garbage bags, haven't seen that for months. Should have had stocked up more.

Not the same at all, Sears and Kmart when it got brought out by ESL had 420+ stores, while all of Toys R Us americas stores closed all of them and over a year later, will open 6 stores.

Not a mystery, the people here using points are the only thing keeping them from finally going bankrupt. Think Eddie Lampert is going to make a great comeback this time around?

Highly doubtful. This is it. Only sad thing is him taking down the employees and shareholders with him next time. B/C that's all that's left to take now.

Their online store has been unable to process points or provide delivery info since yesterday (Wed) morning. Now the shopping cart is down. For all I know registers aren't working in stores either, but I'm not going to bother to go to one to find out. It's like they're trying to self-destruct. I actually need to head to one soon to pick up a small order, and redeem some coupons and points before they go fully bust.

"Temporarily Down" for more than 2 days already and there is no explanation what's happening and what will happen to points expired during it's down or points going to expire soon. It's really turning the customers away.
And it's more like they're cooking on some scheme, hope they're not going to say all the points data are lost.
