OP, you may want to mention that both video cards come with Resident Evil 2 Remake and 2 other games in the title.

I got the Saphire Pulse - it basically runs on 29% of fans, which is inaudible even at max GPU usage. Temp's flat at 77 C at 100% GPU load. The Nitro is even better, with larger cooler Fans make almost no noise in general, and Sapphire BIOS keeps them at minimal speed anyway.
The Nitro has dual BIOS with a switch on the card - one silent mode, another for game typhoon noise mode - pay attention which you run. Besides, fan curve it can be manually adjusted through Radeon Wattman.

Although, I would pay for the GTX1660 /not the ti / just for having a colder card, or RTX2060 - these two run at around 60 C max load - for prices above $200
I got the Pulse on price error, hence the purchase. Cost me $160 brand new....

I'd say no. This is comparable to a 1060 GTX. Neither the greatest of contenders out there. I'd say an RTX 2070 will do moderate settings 4k at 60hz. Anyone can feel free to correct me.

If you haven't purchased a 4k screen yet, go with a 1440p, they are awesome. A 580 can max settings and get good frames with a 1440p screen. This has been my experience.

Correction, I'm seeing this is a 590, I read it as a 580. Still, go with a 1440p screen, 144hz. That will best a 4k 60hz screen, IMHO, anyday. I've both types.

I thought the Nitro was much cheaper few days ago with MIR.
Is Nitro Pulse better than the + SE? It is now $10 cheaper than + with a code.

Thanks! I had a 1440p 144hz and while it was great for PC gaming I split my time evenly between console exclusives and pc games. Consoles at 1440p unfortunately just don't look good at all. So I went with a 4k monitor and the consoles look great but need a pretty beefy gpu to drive it. I'm looking for bare minimum.

It's actually 10-15% faster than the 1060 6gb. It performs between the 1060 and 1070.

Thabks for the advise. So I bought a 32", 1440p, 144hz from a Chinese vendor called Huntkey (I think they are the OEM for Acer or AOC, but not sure).

I have to day I'm disappointed at the non gaming quality. I do a lot of word excel outlook and the screen is pretty grainy, like an image taken with very high ISO. Is this the case with all 144hz screens? I have regular 1440p at work and I'm used to the quality being very clear.
