Office Depot has Brother HL-L2390DW Wireless Monochrome All-In-One Laser Printer on sale for $79.99.

I was in need of a new printer and saw that most places, like Amazon, are currently showing it for $99.99. Small discount but thought it'd be worth to post.

No ethernet. Many times the wireless on these printers can get flakey, if not immediately, over time. And it's mighty convenient to have ethernet available, not because you want it to be wired, but because you can then attach a wireless ethernet bridge to the ethernet port, thereby bypassing the built-in wireless. Used to be that just about any wireless printer also had ethernet. Now it's becoming increasingly rare, esp. on the low-end models. And now, if the wireless craps out or becomes incompatible w/ future wireless improvements, you have to throw out the printer. More planned obsolescence.

You could keep the printer and use it wired via usb...

Hold off for a TN630/TN660 compatible printer. Cartridges go for ~$6/2 often. This one is ~$33/2 infrequently.

Not bad but I would get Staples to price match this and use one of their $25 off $75 codes to make it $55. You can buy the codes for a few dollars on ebay or create a Staples account and they send out the coupons on a regular basis. YMMV on the transfer of the 16 digits codes though.

This unit requires chipped toner. Do any of the generic chipped toners work well?

I really doubt that you can PM+ use the coupon , they used to do that a few years ago but now they always PM after any coupon/reward.

I have an older Brother that looks just like this one (uses TN-420 refills), and I love it. Scanner is pretty good, software isn't very bulky, and the printer just works. Toner lasts a really long time, and hasn't given me issues with cheapie generics from Newegg. Only complaint is the paper drawer feels really cheap. Like, really really cheap.
