Has anybody installed a PNY SSD? How do they compare to Kingston or Crucial, etc.?

Seems there's now a lot of competition at this capacity and pricepoint. I have no idea which is better.

I picked up a quartet of the ADATA U800 256GB models to use as Tier1 and Cache in my NAS. Slight price difference aside (paid $33/each) - are these better drives for such use?

Hyundai 120GB $16.99 @ Walmart. I believe it uses the same controller as Adata. Both dram less.

I've had this SSD in my HTPC for about 6 months, I've also used numerous other brands in family computers / work computers.

On the consumer scale there's Samsung, WD, Intel if you want the best. All of the other brands BB sells are perfectly fine and make even a old core 2 duo seem really fast, they won't hold up in speed tests with big apps and files, but if you're looking for a cheap way to make your side PC / old PC / grandmother or childs PC run really well these are the way to go.

How well would these work to edit video off of if you're using an external USB adapter for it?

Check your local Best Buy to see if they have the cs1311 instead, it's a better drive
