You gotta watch that Girfriend's Review on YouTube after playing. It's required viewing.

PRO TIP: Save yourself some frustration and do not put the difficulty setting higher than 'normal' until you get to the first save. That first save is a WAYS off and one mistake will take you right back to the title screen.

Umm.. according to one of the negative reviews 'redeem code expires 02, 26, 2029.'
That's, ummm, 10 years from now. It's true that in the past Sony was really bad about this and had codes that expired within a year or so. That sucked. I'm not aware of any company doing that practice today. Even some old "expired" sony codes still work. The 10-year thing is probably something they had to do for their financial guys & lawyers so they could "sunset" a service at a certain point

I, too, miss the days when you got a whole release-ready game on disc that would work perfectly without patches or updates and never even need an internet connection if that was difficult for you. Once these PS3, PS4, etc services shut down, yes, it will suck that many of us will have discs that are *not* fully-playable games. Some discs today are little more than "authentication devices" and the only way you get your game is with a huge download. That's largely because of the time-to-market vs bug-fixing pressures the publishers face. They often commit to a release date and aren't ready at that point, because the dscs have to be made ahead of time, packaged, shipped to Amazon, BestBuy, etc. Same is true for DLC, since by definition it's downloadable-content, it's somewhat silly that you puke away at the concept that the downloadable-content is not on disc.

From the great movie Stripes, let me just say "Lighten up, Francis."

It's a great game the story is confusing at first but as you go along it will begin to make sense. Combat is great. I highly recommend it. Also it's long like 50+ hours long if you complete all the quest and multiple endings.

I think, based on the reviews, if you are willing to pay 24 for the Standard Edition it is a GO
If you think you are getting DLCs - you are, but once codes expire, you won't be able to re-download them, and it will turn into SE

BTW the included dlc are just a codes that also possibly expires. So you buying a standard edition with a few dlc codes.

According some Amazon comments, that date is in 10 years, in 2029. Once you add it to "your account" it will be in your account. "Forever," but face it, that means, "for as long as Sony or Microsoft operates the download servers and authentication."

If this bothers you, (and I would be lying if I didn't say it bothers me a little bit), your best bet is to play only Indie games that provide full DRM-free .exe files you can store away on your hard drives (or 8" floppy discs, or paper tape, or those big reel-to-reel tapes you see spinning in movies from the 60's).. Yes, I have used all of those media in my career. Gaming is different now and we are somewhat at the mercy of huge publishes and online servers & DRM.
