Getting up in this price range you could probably get a 3.1 bar or even an atmos bar for $75 to $100 more.

But I really like my yamaha yas 203 and it's 3 yrs old. I wouldn't be afraid on quality myself. Looks like it has dts virtual-x also which is nice. And ARC

I've been eyeing the 1080 but this put me on alert. 1080 and add a quality sub or this guy? Very much on the fence here but it seems like a great price.

The 207 gets down to 200 with a sub so that is in consideration too.

I got the Yamaha 1080 from Costco for $120. And the Dayton 15 powered sub from partsexpress.com for $180. Much better setup the the 4080 if you love bass such as myself. Unfortunately the 4080 only works with the sub that it comes with. But the nice thing about the 4080 is that it's compatible with the music cast speakers. You can use them as rears for movies and also music.

I guess that's the decision. Get a booming sub and go with the 1080 or get this and have the ability to add rears. The power is a factor but really I guess it's up to what I'd like to do down the road. I like this deal and think it is great value but I think I'm going to sit on a 1080 deal and add a quality sub.

Appreciate the help.
